TITLE: Contract Customer Experience Representative

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO TITLE:  (Title) Customer Service Supervisor

SCHEDULE: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday-Friday)

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract - duration: 6 months

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for achieving customer satisfaction within defined objectives for the company.  Includes managing customer accounts via orders, complaints and problem resolution, customer communication via phone and e-mail, invoicing, responding to literature requests.  Takes incoming calls from consumers.  Provides information and support on product training and replacement services.        

 

 MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and problem solving by responding to all inbound calls, faxes, and email communications
  • Assist business customers, sales representative, and internal employees with account management, website navigation, and shipping issues.
  • Be an active listener who can show empathy and patience in a non-scripted environment
  • Communicate information to a variety of non-technical and technical customers
  • Resolve customer inquiries
  • Work in a fast paced, high volume, changing environment
  • Learn and strives to gain new knowledge about product and service changes
  • Communicate product information, warranty service options, and other critical information
  • Utilizing JD Edwards ERP system for order management

 

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 1 2 years of customer service experience required
  • Strong computer application skills
  • ERP system experience preferred (especially JD Edwards)
  • High School Diploma or GED completed
  • Business to business customer service experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal phone etiquette skills
  • Attention to detail and strong communicator (verbally and written)
  • Multitasker with ability to prioritize
